It’s difficult to understand the complexity behind the decisions to transform yourself when it’s not a priority. To become something else, to modify your exterior, involves high economic costs and precise medical care. The idea of a perfect body is subjected to what others try to impose.
Looking for perfection turns into an obsession that may escalate to cause psychological problems that increase medical expenses and health issues. It may even lead to split personalities as you explore yourself inside and out. On the other hand, an unnecessary transformation could be a form of abuse or masochism that ultimately alters our self-esteem, causing chaos not only internally, but also affecting your surroundings.
One of the main challenges of this work was exposing myself and my feelings on how beauty is perceived.
